Looking Ahead:

  • KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION: You should have received the official invitation a couple of weeks ago! The celebration will be on Wednesday, June 5, 10am.  The celebration will be about 1 hour.  Students should dress nicely for the program, but keep in mind they will be sitting criss-cross or on the risers. After the song performance, treats will be enjoyed and then students are dismissed to you for the summer immediately after! This is the last day of school for KINDERGARTEN.

This Week: We finished the iReady math and reading diagnostic exams, yay!  Remember, it’s just ONE piece of information that shows your child’s progress, but my own face to face assessments tend to be a bit more accurate. Iready results will be included in your child’s report card envelope.

Parents have been busy helping me with the planning for the kindergarten celebration!  The kids are working so hard on their songs and we’ve finished all the artwork that will be displayed as decorations on the day of the celebration.  The stars of the show will be ready to shine!

Next Week:

I will be working on putting together summer packets for everyone and will hopefully send those home next week.  It will have ideas on what you can do to help your child over the summer in between all that playing and summer fun! 🙂
