Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!
Looking back…
- We focused on learning about Christmas!
- We learned about the sound ng, as well as writing numbers 1-7.
- We made gingerbread men.
- We have been working hard preparing for our Christmas Program!
- We continued to verbally blend and segment 2 syllable words. (Blending rain-ing turns into raining. Segmenting raining turns into rain-ing.)

Wednesday, December 17th – Pre-K Christmas Program, 9:30AM in the Parish Center
Friday, December 19th – 2PM Dismissal (No Aftercare)
Monday, December 22nd- Monday, January 5th – No School: Christmas Break
REMINDERS…
- Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays.
- Our Preschool Christmas Program will take place on December 17th at 9:30 am in the Parish Center!
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
- What did you put on your gingerbread man? (eyes, mouth, buttons)
- What sound does ng make? (ng says /n/)
- Practice writing numbers 1-7.
- Continue to practice spelling and tracing/writing your child’s first name.
