Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!
Looking back…
- We learned about St. Valentine and showing others love!
- We learned about the sounds oi and ue as well as writing numbers 1-10.
- We are continuing to notice the middle sound in words, rather than just the beginning and ending sounds.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
- Monday, February 16th: No School
- Wednesday, February 18th: Ash Wednesday Mass (10:00am)
- Friday, February 20th: Stations of the Cross (2:30pm)
- Sunday, February 22nd: Family Mass (10:30am)
REMINDERS…
- Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
- How can you show others love? (answers will vary)
- What did you make out of a heart? (pizza)
- What sound does oi make? What sound does ue make? (oi says /oy/ and ue says /you/)
- Practice writing numbers 1-10.
- Continue to practice spelling and tracing/writing your child’s first name.
