Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!
Looking back…
- We learned about Groundhogs!
- We learned about the sound ou as well as writing numbers 1-10.
- We are continuing to notice the middle sound in words, rather than just the beginning and ending sounds.
- We have been loving playing in the snow and making campfires!

- Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
- What does a groundhog predict? (early spring or more winter)
- What color are groundhogs? (brown)
- What sound does ou make? (ou says /ow/)
- Practice writing numbers 1-10.
- Continue to practice spelling and tracing/writing your child’s first name.
