Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!
Looking back…
- We continued to learn about penguins, while also celebrating Catholic Schools Week!
- We learned about the sound qu as well as writing numbers 1-10.
- We learned that God gave us animals.
- We are continuing to notice the middle sound in words, rather than just the beginning and ending sounds.

REMINDERS…
- Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
- How do penguins walk? (they waddle)
- What would you do if you had a pet penguin? (answers will vary)
- What sound does qu make? (qu says /qu/)
- Practice writing numbers 1-10.
- Continue to practice spelling and tracing/writing your child’s first name.
