Pre-K 3/4 Newsletter August 29th

Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!

Looking back…

  • We focused on sharing about ourselves and learning each other’s names!
  • We learned about what makes our friends special!
  • We continued to play on the playground and make new friends!
  • We continued to explore centers and learned how to identify and create groups of 1-5!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
Monday, September 1st – No School: Labor Day
Thursday, September 4th – Sunday, September 7th – Fall Fest at St. Cletus.
Sunday, September 7th – Outdoor mass to honor all first responders

REMINDERS…

  • Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays, this week there was a whole packet of information that went home!
  • Sunday, August 31st is the last day to purchase megapasses for Fall Fest!
  • Ledo’s pizza requires ordering two days prior to delivery. Their first delivery is September 3rd, so ordering would need to be placed by September 1st at 1pm
  • Preschool will not be participating in mass at the beginning of the year. I will let you know when we begin to attend with our buddies.
  • Please remember to sign the parent-student handbook sent to your e-mail.
  • If you would like to volunteer throughout the year, please get your VIRTUS training completed. All of our volunteers MUST be VIRTUS trained.

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!

  • Who is one new friend you played with?
  • What letter does your name start with?
  • Can you count to 5 and show me on your fingers? You can also have them count sets of objects for you and tell you how many.

Have a great weekend!
