Happy Friday Families!

We focused on Valentine’s Day and our letter of the week, R.

*This week, we did a R for Rabbit craft!

*During our library time, Mrs. Flood taught us all about Saint Valentine.  He loved Jesus very much and helped people love each other. He reminded people that love is a special gift from God.

*We brought out our cozy stuffed animals and practiced gentle care and nurturing.

*Our dramatic play area transformed into a Valentine’s Post Office! The children wrote and delivered “love letters” to their friends.

*We matched colorful pom poms to the correct colored hearts.

*Last but not least, we had our Valentine’s Day party!!! Thank you so much to everyone who brought in supplies and especially to our volunteers. We couldn’t have done the party without you!

We had such a LOVE-filled week in preschool as we celebrated Valentine’s Day! Our classroom was full of kindness, friendship, and lots of heart-themed fun!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
  • What was your favorite center at the Valentine’s Day party? (pass the heart, Valentine pass out, friendship bracelets, bozo buckets or cookie decorating)

  • What did you do at the kitchen this week? (send letters!)

  • What was your letter of the week and what sound does it make? (R)
Have an amazing weekend,
