Pre-K 3 Newsletter February 27

Happy Friday Families!

We focused on Transportation and Letter S this week!

*We continued our Lenten Kindness Chain! Any time a friend does a kind deed, they get a link added onto our Kindness chain. We can’t wait to see how long our chain is at the end of Lent!

*We learned that transportation is how people, animals, and things move from one place to the another. We use machines like cars, trains, buses, bicycles, boats, airplanes, and even our own two feet!

*We completed an obstacle course in P.E.! We learned how to walk on a balance beam with our arms out like an airplane!

*S was our Letter of the Week. We slithered like snakes and made an S for Snake craft at the teacher center!

*We started a new science experiment. We mixed yellow and blue food coloring to make the water green. Then we added white flowers to the water. We will see if they change color!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
  • What are some different modes of transportation? (car, bus, airplane, boat, foot)

  • What are some things that start with the letter s? (snake, scissors, soccer, school)

  • What game did you do in P.E. today? (completed an obstacle course!)

Have an amazing weekend,
Mrs. Arlowe
