Happy Friday Families!

We focused on families and our letter of the week, P. Thank you so much for sending in family photos! Each child had the opportunity to share their picture with the class and talk about who is in their family.

*This week, we did a P for pig craft!

*We met with our 7th grade buddies and learned how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors for our school wide tournament!

*We learned about all of our friend’s families and that all families look different!

*We practiced our fine motor skills while making our family hearts and stringing beads to hang them!

*We celebrated our first classroom birthday, Happy 4th Birthday Lucia!

It was a wonderful week of sharing, learning, and building connections. Thank you for your continued support—we love seeing the excitement your children bring to our classroom each day!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
  • What letter did you learn this week, and can you think of something that starts with that letter? (P, pig, pirate, penguin)

  • What was your favorite part of playing or learning with your friends this week?

  • Who won the Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament in your class? (John won!)
Have an amazing weekend,
Mrs. Arlowe
