Happy Friday Families!
We focused on Community Helpers and Letter T this week!
*It was a celebratory week in Pre-k 3, we had THREE birthdays! Happy birthday to Adrian, Luca T. and Caroline!
*We pretended to be veterinarians, bank tellers, and mail carriers. They loved caring for stuffed animals at our “vet clinic,” helping customers at the “bank,” and delivering mail around the classroom.
*We learned all about the jobs people in our community do to keep our neighborhood running!
*We also practiced an important mail skill by sorting letters and stamps, which helped us work on matching, sorting, and fine motor skills.
*Throughout the week we continued practicing writing our letter T, and the children are doing a wonderful job working on their handwriting!
*To start getting ready for spring celebrations, we made pots of gold that will be part of our St. Patrick’s Day decorations. The classroom is starting to look very festive!
*In our PBIS assembly, we watched Mrs. Arlowe compete in our teachers’ March Madness tournament. We were so proud to cheer her on — she finished in 3rd place!
