Pre-K 3 Newsletter May 1

🐄 Friday Newsletter 🐄

This week, our theme was farm animals! We had so much fun learning about life on the farm and all the different animals that live there.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

  • 🐑 Learned the names of baby farm animals like lambs, calves, kids, and kittens
  • 📚 Read lots of stories—some of our favorites were Old McDonald and Hen Hears Gossip
  • 🎨 Got messy and used our fingers to paint muddy pigs
  • 🐷 Played with Scribble Scrubbies in our sensory bin—coloring the animals and washing them clean
  • ✂️ Gave our grass heads haircuts and fun hairstyles after watching them grow
  • ✏️ Explored our final letter: Z and created a “Z is for Zebra” craft

We are so proud of all the learning we’ve done as we finished the alphabet!

*If you’re interested in buying a yearbook, you can purchase the 2025-2026 school yearbook by May 1, 2026! The cost is $26.79 for a softcover and $33.37 for a hardcover (plus tax). Here is the link.

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
  • Their favorite baby farm animal 🐄
  • How they cleaned the Scribble Scrubbies 🫧
  • What they made for their letter Z craft 🦓

Have a wonderful weekend! 🌾
