Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3 this week!
Looking back…
*This week, we focused on the “Healthy Me” theme! Our little learners explored healthy habits like handwashing, eating nutritious foods, staying active, and taking care of our teeth.
Here’s what we did:
*Practiced sequencing the steps to wash our hands properly.
*Explored foods that give us energy vs. foods that are good for our soul.
*Practiced brushing teeth with our teeth brushing mats!
*Learned about the five food groups and sorted foods into the correct categories.
*Created “Happy Plates” by gluing food pictures onto paper plates.
*Had art class in our classroom and painted turkeys!
.

Looking Ahead…
Please be sure to send in your family recipes! We will begin putting together our recipe books next week!
Conferences are coming! If you are unable to make a conference on November 25- please reach out to me! We ask that no children are present at the conference so we can speak freely :). I cannot wait to tell you all of the great things your child is doing in Preschool!
.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
* What is your favorite food group? (fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, protein)
*How did you make your turkey? (with watercolor paint)
*How did you make the teeth clean at the green table this week? (with a brush!)
Have an amazing weekend,
Mrs. Arlowe
