Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3 this week!
Looking back…
*This week, we explored the Authors we Love theme and Letter E!
*We read favorites like Pete the Cat, Llama Llama, Elephant & Piggie and Cat in the hat!
*We matched opposites, graphed buttons, and sorted colorful fish.
*We used tweezers and scoops in our sensory bins to sort our Letter E erasers!
.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
Monday, October 13- NO SCHOOL
Monday, October 27– Wear Pink & bring $1 to support Breast Cancer
Tuesday, October 28– Crazy sock day & bring in a canned food item to support our Food Pantry!
Wednesday, October 29– Decade Day, dress up as your favorite decade
Thursday, October 30– Hawaiian Day!
.
REMINDERS…
As we get into the cooler weather…. make sure to send your child with appropriate clothing to go outside! We are outside almost every day, even in the Winter!
Please practice with your child on how to put on jackets and clothing independently. Independence is a HUGE part of preschool!
.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
*What book did you love the most this week?
*What does an Author do?
*How many buttons did you string?
Have an amazing weekend,
Mrs. Arlowe
