What an exciting first week this has been! We didn’t let the heat stop us. We made first day of school projects, made new friends and began to talk about what we would be learning this year.

Next week we will continue with our back to school theme and will begin our centers. Mid week we will also introduce our first letter of the week, S, and will continue with it the following week since it is a shortened week with the holiday and fall fest.

A few things….

Somehow or another Kleenex, was deleted from our school supplies list. If you are out and about this weekend donations to the classroom would be greatly appreciated. We will definitely need some to get us through the next few months.

Our class still needs a room representative to help with classroom events! Please let me know if you would be willing to take on this position.

Milk– It is not too late to order for your student. Email the school office and they will make sure to get it all set up for you.

Hot Lunch Program: Our hot lunch (optional) program is three days per week. Sign up is NOW AVAILABLE! When setting up your hot lunch account, you will need to choose your child’s lunch period (for hot lunch ordering) as follows:

1st Lunch: Full day Pre-K, Jr. Kdg., Kdg., 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
2nd Lunch: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades

If you are new to ordering, please follow these instructions: (a) Register HERE; (b) Set up a profile for EACH child by selecting Add Profile; (d) Select Order Now to view menus and place orders; and (e) Enter your payment method to pay securely online.
