Preschool 3-December 8, 2023

What an eventful week we had preparing for Christmas!  Our week began with our Advent wreaths.  Our wreaths are displayed in the classroom, reminding us that Baby Jesus will be coming soon.  A candle will be lit each week.  Our secret projects are almost done and they are beautiful.  The kids have been very excited creating these special gifts.  Speaking of gifts…we also visited the Holiday shop this week.  Our focus letter was “Jj” and the jolly jellyfish was our letter craftivity.  Counting Christmas was in full swing on our large ten frame.  Counting sparkly gingerbread people was our favorite.  We are busy identifying numbers 0-10 and practicing counting the number of objects to match the numerals.
Oh what fun it was to celebrate our first December birthday.  Thank you to Aria and her family for the delicious cupcakes.  Our Christmas program is almost here and we have been busy singing our songs each day.  Don’t forget to mark your calendar for this special day-Wednesday, December 20th at 9:30 in the Parish Center.
