Love was in the air this week in our classroom. We read lots of stories about Valentine’s Day and kindness. Our party was so much fun. We decorated cookies, created beautiful bags for our cards, played games and ended our party passing out our valentines and yummy treats. Thanks to all of the families for contributing donations for this special day. A great big thanks to our five Moms who came to school to help the day of the party! They did such a wonderful job and we are all so grateful. Another birthday was celebrated and this adds another “four” to our classroom. Thanks to Mark and his family for the yummy cookies and rings. All of us are looking forward to our next birthday in two weeks. On Ash Wednesday, our entire class attended Mass and received ashes. During Lent, we will be discussing the different ways we can show love to God and others. Next week we will learn about penguins, focus on the letter “Pp” and review our numbers through 10.
Reminder…
*Continue to dress for the weather. How lucky we have been to be outdoors so many days! Also, please continue to practice putting on coats and zipping. We always ask the children to try before we help. They have come such a long way with this life skill.
*Please be sure to send your child to school with a full water bottle.
