Middle School and Junior High students have primarily focused on 3D design using Microsoft’s 3D Builder, along with exploring pre-made models on Thingiverse—a website where 3D creators upload and share unique designs. They have also worked on strengthening their typing skills through various online tools, most recently using Mavis Beacon and TypingTest.com. Prior to that, students used graphic design programs like Canva to create their own original school advertisements.
In the primary grades, students have continued their introduction to educational technology through interactive games and activities, including block coding. They have also continued enhancing typing fundamentals, with an emphasis on correct hand placement and proper technique.
Our youngest learners continue to learn about how technology helps them at school and at home. They have used virtual reality goggles to ride fun roller coasters, they have seen some of our robotics in action and have watched educational videos on how technology works.
