Mrs. Schaefer has been a member of the St. Cletus team since January of 2005.  She became the Assistant Principal in 2016 after serving as a first grade teacher. She has completed her Leadership training through the Office of Catholic Schools and attended the Catholic Schools Management conference to further grow her education. 

Mrs. Schaefer has an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Millikin University. She maintains a Type 03 certification with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Science. Christy serves as a Eucharistic minister and attends Professional Development opportunities as well as working at events within the community.
