Mr. Ochoa is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and is a certified bilingual and ESL educator with a Spanish endorsement. He serves as the
Dual Language Immersion Coordinator, overseeing the program sponsored and supported by the University of Notre Dame and the Archdiocese of Chicago. Most recently, Mr. Ochoa completed the
ENL Hernandez Fellowship program at the University of Notre Dame, a graduate program that enhances expertise in educating multilingual learners.
He manages the Technology Learning Center, where students develop computer literacy and technology skills, and also teaches Middle School Religion. In addition, he maintains the school website, created the parish website, and assists in providing technology support while assisting the marketing director. Mr. Ochoa also serves as editor-in-chief of the school yearbook and as videographer for “
Live from St. Cletus”, which highlights important school events and activities.
Mr. Ochoa is a certified catechist, lector and Eucharistic minister. He has completed the Genealogy Essentials program with a focus on Hispanic genealogy from Boston University’s Genealogy Studies program and is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society in History. His hobby and passion is genealogy and family history. He recently produced a
documentary about his ancestors, highlighting their journey of migration from Mexico to the United States.
