April showers brings May flowers…WOW, its going to be a bloomin’ May!
We have been busy making our own sunshine in JK this week.
Easter is around the corner and the kids have been very busy preparing for it!
Religion: As we begin this next week with Palm
Sunday, we will explore Holy Week in an age appropriate way. We will also have mass on Tuesday, and a prayer service on Thursday morning at 9:30.
Literacy: We are working on the POP corn words as well as rhyming words. So far we have done: I/ the/ is/ and be. Your kids are doing a great job identifying them in our morning message!
Math: We are looking at bigger numbers, groups of tens with ones on the side, and tally marks, too!
Social Studies: Weather and watching spring come to life.
Book fair information is coming home today in your child’s backpack. If you would like to purchase a raffle ticket to win a basket of books and fun toys, please fill out the tickets for $1 each, and bring them back next week to be entered to win. Book fair will be every day after school next week until 4, if you would like to stop by!
