It was so great to see you all at Fall Fest last weekend, and such beautiful weather too!
Next on the list is Grandparents Day Mass on Thursday, September 25th, at 1:15!
We had another fun week in JK! Here are a few questions to ask you children:
- What is the motion and letter sound for “S” and “A’?
- What are some things your table mates eat for snack?
- What happens on Fun Fridays? (disco ball)
- What is the poem for the number 1? ( a straight line down is fun, thats the way we make a one!)
Religion: This week we talked about how God made our families special. We have all the family drawings up along with your family picture. The kids have really been enjoying them. This week we started to attend 8am mass with our 6th grade buddies. We will be attending every Tuesday at 8am for the remainder of the year.
Literacy: We learned letters “S” and “A”. Next week we will introduce letters “T” ad “I”
Math: We are working on number identification and number poems. We do this daily during calendar and time and also centers.
Science: We are on the lookout for signs of Fall as the seasons change. If you are on a walk with your children, be sure to look for busy squirrels and color changes on trees.
