📰
Dear Pre-K 4 DLI Families,
This week we learned all about the letra Chch! We discovered some fun words that begin with ch, and for Zoophonics we met Chano Chango! Our craft this week was Chano Chango himself, the children loved it!
We’re starting to practice gluing all on our own, and they are doing a fantastic job becoming more independent during craft time.
It’s also exciting to see our students beginning to understand and respond in Spanish! We practiced questions like:
🗣️ “¿Cuántos ojos tiene Chano Chango?”
🎨 “¿De qué color es Chano Chango?”
Even though their answers are just one word right now, they’re in Spanish! 💛
During calendar time, we continue to see lots of participation and enthusiasm… great stuff!
In our math center, we began connecting numbers with quantities using spiders, it’s getting spooooky! 🕷️
Next week, we’ll begin learning the letra Dd, including its sound, how to write it, and some fun words that start with D. Stay tuned for our craft of the week!
We will also be finishing our recitation of “El Padre Nuestro” next week, as we’ll begin a new prayer in Noviembre.
We hope you enjoyed the video posted on ClassDojo, the students love sharing their learning with you!
And of course… next week is Halloween! 🎃
Get ready for some spooky fun and special classroom moments!
