What are we up to?

Religion–  We will continue to learn about the commandments and start to focus on the 4th and 5th Commandment.

Math–  We will wrap up our unit on Area and Perimeter of combined rectangles and will begin a quick review of multiples and factors before we begin our unit on Fractions.

Social Studies–  We are starting our 4th region, the NorthEast.  What perfect timing to talk about it especially with all the snow they just got.  We will talk about the geography, goods that come from that area and landmarks.  The quiz on the states and capitals will be around March 11th.

Science–  We finished up the unit on Collisions and will shift our focus to erosions.

Reading–  We have wrapped up reading The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe and will begin our next chapter book next week.  Stay tuned for the title since the class will be voting today!
