We are really getting excited for Easter. We have 2 more families to pray for, this has really been a special moment for your children! I hope you are feeling the love and prayers.
We talked through the stations of the cross, and at 2pm we attended the 8th grade performance of the stations with our buddies.
Things to ask your children:
- Can you sing the Lent Song to me?
- What happened on Palm Sunday?
- How many Eggs could you stack with Playdough?
- What are the 2 bunnies names that hide behind the game, “Find the Bunny”, number game
(Flopsy and Mopsy)
Religion: As we begin next week with Palm Sunday, we will explore Holy Week in a age appropriate way. We will be having our weekly mass on Tuesday morning at 8am. Thursday we have the Washing of the Feet prayer service at 9:30 am. (Dismissal on Thursday is at 2pm.)
Literacy: We have been working on POPcorn words as well as rhyming words. So far our POPcorn words are: see and we. Your children are having so much fun finding theses words in our daily message and while looking through books.
Math: Lots of Bunny number games and working with larger numbers.
Science/ Social Studies: Spring gives us a chance to see the world in full bloom. We will continue to look for new growth outside.
