Hi there my wonderful first-grade families! 🙂
Math: Each morning, the students work through their Simple Solutions workbooks for their morning work. We have finished up Module 14 and will begin Module 15! 🙂
****PLEASE keep up with the homework as it does help build on their own progress with what we have been learning about! 🙂
Wilson: We have been working hard throughout all the units and have began Unit 11.
Spelling: We will be having a spelling test this coming week.
Spelling Word Lists is:
Mule, Brave, Joke, Grades, Smiles
Sentences:
1.) Another cave is down by the lake.
2.) That friend tells the best jokes.
Social Studies/Science: This week we have been talking about our history and how certain moments have shaped our history and what we do today during the modern world! 🙂
Religion: We have been working hard taking our religion assessment!
Reading: We have working together with our small group reading our supplemental reading books along with our decodables. We then begin discussing what has been happened in the stories, and building on our knowledge. We do this at the same time with our resource officer, Mrs. Sigel. Also, we have been able to connect what we have learned about in the books back to what we have been learning about Wilson, which is just amazing! 🙂
We have been working EXTREMELY hard with our comprehension (remembering what is going on/happening throughout the story!) throughout our small group reading time as well!
**Remember to keep filling out those reading logs! 🙂 They are due each Monday unless we do not have school so in that case, they would be due on Tuesdays! Thank you!!!!!! 🙂
