This week in DLI was a busy one! Our students focused on the color red, learning to recognize it through our color song and by finding red items around us. We also began exploring the vowel “A” and completed a fun activity to reinforce it. One of the highlights of the week was when we mixed different colors of play-doh with red, and the students were excited to see how two colors could create a new one. Next week, we’ll be focusing on the vowel “E” as well as the colors orange and yellow. Your child is welcome to wear either or both colors throughout the week in our DLI classroom. Reminders:
- Please continue sending labeled snacks and filled water bottles. Some students are still feeling hungry after their snacks, so if possible, please send an extra one.
- Nap items should be washed and returned on Tuesday.
