Religion:   This week we will continue working with the Growing With God series.

Math:   The class will continue learning about telling time.   During the week , the class will learn to read, write, and tell time on analog and digital clocks to the nearest minute.  They will use both an analog clock and a number line to measure time intervals in minutes.  MSS L 101 – 104 will be due by Friday.

Science:  This week we will begin a unit about animals adapting and defending themselves in the wild.  The students will read about camouflage and mimicry and how they help animals survive in their environment.

Reading;  The students have done an AMAZING job on their book report projects.  Presentations will continue this week. The students will also work on writing stories about an Easter Bunny getting stuck and how they get out.  Small groups will meet to read stories.  These small groups will work on comprehension worksheets centered around stories being read.

Phonics:  Our work this week will bring us to the end of Unit 6 in our Phonics series.  Unit 6 had the students learning about and working with PREFIXES, SIFFIXES, BASE WORDS, and MULTI – SYLLABLE WORDS.

Spelling:  Our words this week have consonants that are doubled in the middle of the word.
