What a fun and exciting week this has been for us! We were able to attend an all school assembly on Wednesday to watch BMX bike rider Matt Wilhelm perform some really neat tricks. He also taught us to never give up and that practice is a must in order to succeed.
We also were surprised with our class prize on Thursday for being the first class to raise $1000 on our family pages! The class was treated to snow cones from Kona Ice. Make sure to check out the St Cletus School Facebook page for some amazing pictures!
Lastly, Student Council has taken on one final project for the year. They are asking each grade level to collect items for the food pantry. They have given preschool the task of collecting personal care items. If you are able, please send these items to school with your student and we will bring them to the designated area. Thank you for your help with this!
Looking Ahead
May 24th: Inside Out Day; students are able to wear their clothing inside out as long as it doesn’t become a distraction.
May 25th: Hat Day
May 29th: No School
June 2nd: Crazy socks day
June 7th: Field Day/Last day of School for Early Childhood
We will also be planning a trip to the park with our 5th grade buddies. Be on the lookout next week for a permission slip. Date TBD.
