Dear DLI Families,
We ended the month of February on such a bright and joyful note! It has been a very busy and exciting few weeks in our classroom, filled with wonderful learning moments and lots of smiles.
In Language Arts, we learned all about la letra Ss and practiced blending it with las vocales. We also met our Zoophonics friend, Sami Serpiente, who helped us explore the /s/ sound in a fun and engaging way!
This week we also began talking about Dr. Seuss—who he was and some of the books he wrote that we already know and love. The students had such a fun time recognizing familiar stories and learning more about this beloved author.
In Religion, we proudly finished praying the Ave María and began learning our final prayer, Gloria al Padre. The students were so excited to find out we were starting a new prayer! It has been beautiful to watch them grow in confidence as they pray together.
In Math, we have been working hard on our counting skills and successfully counted from 1–90! The class was extremely excited to realize we are getting so close to reaching 100 (¡casi el número 100!). We are so proud of their enthusiasm and progress.
Thank you for your continued support at home. We are looking forward to another wonderful month ahead!
