Dear DLI Families,
This week we learned all about the letra Dd! We practiced our weekly song with las vocales and learned some fun words that begin with D, such as Dado, Delfín, Dinosaurio, Dos, y Duende.
This was our last week reciting El Padre Nuestro twice a day. Starting next week, we will begin learning our new prayer, “Ángel de la Guarda.”
During our phonemic awareness time, we continue practicing how to combine syllables to make words. Some of our friends are even starting to do Heggerty on their own—how creative they’re becoming!
We also had our Spooktacular Halloween Party this week! It was filled with costumes, laughter, and lots of fun. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special celebration for our class! 🎃🧡
