This week in DLI, we finished the letter Ww and started letter Xx. We welcomed the month of abril (April) and we had a little April fools joke for our little ones. We had “brown E’s”. We read two fun books – El Rey de La Casa and Dios Me Creo. Our positive affirmation mirror, which students love, will be up for the rest of the school year. It is so lovely to see our kiddos go up and admire themselves.
We will also be celebrating Día del Niño (Children’s Day) before we leave for Spring break.

Next week we will be finishing letter Xx and start letter Yy. We’re almost there! We will also continue practicing our numbers and shapes. After this, DLI plans to do something fun with Mrs. Arlowe’s class – stay tuned!
