Can you believe that we’ve been in school for over 100 days?
This week we focused on the letter Oo and started getting into the Valentine’s Spirit. We discussed ways that we can be kind and also what it means to be kind. This week we read 2 books about friendship, “¿Quieres ser mi Amigo?” and “Mi Amigo Extraterrestre” – and the kiddos loved both stories, especially our second book because the story kept repeating “¿porque?”
Our 101 Dalmatians Days of School celebration was a hit! Thank you all for your cooperation and support as we continue creating memories for our students here at St. Cletus – IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE A CARDINAL!= in DLI!
Next week will be lots of fun! We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and spending time with our friends. If you would like to send Valentine treats or cards, they will be passed out after our celebration. As an FYI, we have 17 students and any cards or treats should not be personalized which will make it easier for us to pass out to the entire class. Valentine’s Day party items should be in by Feb 13th.
Reminders:
* No more additional nap items are needed, we are preparing for Kindergarten.
* Wear climate appropriate clothing.
* Anyone who wants to volunteer in any school event where our students are present must be Virtus Compliant.
