Welcome Back!
We cannot wait for the second half of the school year! It is awesome to see how older your children look. Some even grew a few inches! This week, we went over our rules and classroom expectations and introduced letter Ll. We will begin working on letter LLll. We are still learning our letters and making silabas. We got right to work and did some “warm-ups” of previous letters. We have also been practicing our numbers and shapes in Español daily. With this week’s letter, we learned about Daniel and the Lions and did a craft to go with the lesson. We also practiced coloring by sílabas.
Our Book of the week was Un Dia de Nieve… We may have summoned the snow. LOL!
Next week we are back into our normal schedule and will finish letter LLll, and begin letter Mm. We will be working on being kind and nice throughout the week.
Upcoming events:
- 1/13 – 1/17 – We will be doing a full size personal hygiene collection drive next week. This is in support of Nazareth Academy who will be making kits to give to those in need.
- 1/26 – Open house : Invite anyone and Everyone 🙂
- 1/27 – Favorite Plaid Shirt with Uniform
- 1/28 – Bring a can of soup for the food pantry
- 1/29 – Spirit wear dress down
- 1/30 – Student appreciation
- 1/31 – Red and White Dress down day
Reminders:
- No more additional nap items are needed, we are preparing for Kindergarten.
- Wear climate appropriate clothing.
- Anyone who wants to volunteer in any school event where our students are present must be Virtus Compliant.
