Dual Language Busy Bees! 9/9/24 – 9/13/24

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back from our long weekend! This week was filled with fun as we learned two new colors and a new vowel. A special moment happened when our students remembered last week’s color, “rojo,” and then confidently said our new colors in Spanish. It’s clear that our morning reviews are helping everyone recognize and understand colors in Spanish.

We also learned about how God created each of us to be wonderful, special, and unique. We worked together on a class project, and you’ll see a picture of it in this newsletter. Our DLI students are especially enjoying the “Adiós” (Goodbye) song! They eagerly follow along and sing, and it’s exciting to see how much progress we’ve made since the beginning.

Next week, we’ll be focusing on the colors azul and verde (blue and green) and learning the vowel Ii.

Lastly, I wanted to share a fun bilingual event that one of our moms told us about: 123 Andrés will be hosting a bilingual concert for kids on Sunday, September 22nd at 10 AM at Fitzgerald’s Patio.
