Looking Back…
*Halloween was a really fun day. Our party was the best! We played Halloween buckets, Halloween Bingo, decorated cookies and made picture frames. When we left, we were even able to take our frames home with our costume photo inside. Classroom trick-or-treating filled our buckets. Thank you so much to Teddy’s Mom, Mrs. Coklas, for organizing and helping at our party. She did an AWESOME job. Also, thanks so much to all the Preschool families for all of the food, decorations and candy donated for this special day.
* Such a coincidence that our letter of the week was “Hh” and it was Halloween!
We hopped a lot and we were h-h-h-hot! We made happy hearts and homes with our letter this week and talked all about the things that make us happy. It truly was a happy week.
*We thanked God for being able to hear this week. It was fun to be outside listening to all of the sounds around our school. The church bells are our favorite and we count how many times they ring. We also thanked God for all of the beautiful days we enjoyed in our courtyard this week. Fall has been good to us. Who knows…we still may be playing in the leaves next week.
*Our number this week was 8 and our shape was the hexagon. Patterns were our focus during calendar and our new AB pattern is turkey, hexagon, turkey, hexagon. Building AB patterns with our shape blocks was so cool! We were so busy counting leaves in our centers that we didn’t even have time to begin our spider counting centers. See you next week, little spiders!
*Congratulations to our PBIS winner of the week, Abby, for being such a great helper in the classroom. We are all working so hard on our PBIS rules. We love to visit the Cardinal posters and review all of those rules.
