Happy Valentine’s Day! These kids all have such BIG hearts! We had such a great time at our class party today. Thank you so much to the moms who came to join in the fun!
A few questions for your kids:
- What station was your favorite at the party? (heart craft, bingo, fizzy hearts, cookies, or passing out the valentines?)
- Ask your child to sing the heart song, ” There is a great big heart deep inside of me….”
- Who was the weather reporter today?
Looking into next week:
Religion: Lent starts this week. We have mass next Tuesday at 8 and again on Ash Wednesday at 10 am. Please join us if you can! We also have Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 2:30 led by the students in the church. We do not participate on Fridays. We do discuss the stations as a class but in a age appropriate way. The stations are not only a basis of our faith, but also how we learn compassion for others.
Literacy: We will continue to review letters sounds and practice letter formation!
Math: Our number games will continue as we continue our practice with teen numbers
Science: Meteorology reports! The kids are all loving this and doing a great job!
