Happy Catholic Schools Week!
Thank you to all the families who came to mass and that stopped in to say “Hello” on Sunday! Our school is a great place to learn and grow, and we have a LOT of fun while doing it!

Your kids have been busy doing many great things in the classroom AND around the school this week. From donating soup to the food pantry, to making cards for the elderly.  They had a cookie and milk snack, spent time with their 5 th grade buddies, Groundhogs day, blessing of our throats for St. Blase, and rounded it out by cheering at the long standing St. Cletus tradition of  the Red VS White Volley ball game.. What a great week!

We have one more Arctic Animal to go! I hope your kids came home and filled you in on the fun facts of the Polar Bear, Penguin, Fox, Seal and Hare! The sinking of the iceberg was a HUGE hit.

Next week…

Religion: We will be focusing on LOVE and friendship for Valentines Day! God asks one thing from us and that is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER! We do that by treating our friends with love and respect and kindness each day!

Literacy: Your children are doing amazing with Phonemic awareness each day. They are becoming so confident with letter sounds and identifying beginning middle and and ending sounds,, segmenting words and building them too!

Math: Graphing, tallies, and games are everyday work the gets them ready to move into working with larger numbers!

Science: We love hands on experiments! The sensory table is a huge hit, too! Many fun things to come to keep your children engaged and curious!

Have a wonderful weekend!
