We had a great first week of February! We were so excited for the warmer weather and to get back outdoor recess!
We finished up the Arctic animals unit, and now we are busy with all things hearts! We talked about love for our family and friends, and most of all God’s love for us ALL.
Our class party will be next Friday! Please remember when doing the Valentines, that your child ONLY signs their names and leaves the TO: empty. This will greatly help when passing out the Valentines on Friday. We have 24 kids in our class.
A few Questions for your kids:
- What did the “colored heart” that Mrs. Hogan and Mrs. Jacobs write about you say ? (picture attached)
- Has your full day child been mat caller yet?
- Who was the line leader?
- Who was the caboose?
Religion: Learning about The Good Samaritan story, St. Valentine and Spreading love and kindness to to all!
Literacy: We will be practicing writing our letter “e” and “h”, and reviewing our letter sounds.
Math: We will be working on Ten Frames and tally marks and sneaking into the teen numbers.
Science: Weather reporting and and science hands on fun!
