Happy Friday! We had a great week in JK!
Spring has Sprung, we just started to see signs of spring and then it snows…Yikes. Nothing like spring in Chicago:)
We have had lots of Easter based learning fun this week, hard to believe it will be here next weekend!
Religion: As we begin next week with Palm Sunday, we will explore Holy Week in a age appropriate way. We will be having our weekly mass on Tuesday morning at 8am and also a prayer service on Thursday morning at 9:30.
Literacy: We have been working on POPcorn words as well as rhyming words. So far we have done: See, I, we, be it, is. Your children are doing a great job identifying them on the morning message each day and also while looking through books!
Math: We are working with bigger numbers, groups of 10, and tally marks, too!
Social Studies/ Science: Spring gives us the perfect chance to see the world in full bloom! We will continue to focus on new growth we notice when we are outside.
