#114 and #115 is Our “Family Game Night”- baskets full of fun games to keep the family laughing and enjoying each others company. Your generosity was so great, they made 2 baskets with it!! Thank you
#177 is An afterschool Painting Party with Mrs. Hogan! One lucky child gets to invite 2 friends to a Afterschool painting party. The date is TBD depending on winners availability.
We had a great week, although we missed many kids who were still out sick! Hoping we are back to our full room next week. We will be busy reading and rhyming with Dr. Seuss! These books are a hoot and the kids love all the rhymes!
Some things to ask your children:
• Did you have a special class job this week?
• How many rhymes can you make off of Cat? (Sat, mat fat, hat, etc)
• What is your favorite job to have in class and why?
Religion: We are busy getting our hearts ready for Easter! We pray for a different family every morning during our morning religion time. If your child brings home a heart with your family name on it, please know we prayed the Our Father for you.
Literacy: We will be rhyming with Dr. Seuss. With daily Phonemic awareness your kids have been practicing and listening for beginning and ending sounds and repeating them back! Lots of smart cookies in JK.
Math: Our number work continues daily with calendar and beyond. The kids love the game, ” What number comes between 5 and 7?” This is something fun we do while waiting in line to go to a special or packing up at the end of the day!
Science: The Daily Meteorologist report is going well. Your kids are so very proud to be up front reporting the weather. We are all very eager for signs of spring and new life to arise.
