We had a great week, reading and rhyming with Dr, Seuss! Please continue the fun of reading with your children at home. These books are a hoot and the kids love all the rhymes!
Some things to ask your children:
- Did you have a special class job this week?
- Did you like playing outside after snack this morning?
- Did you make a Dr. Seuss Thing 1 or a Thing 2 ?
Religion: We are busy getting our hearts ready for Easter! We pray for a different family every morning during our morning religion time.
Literacy: We will be rhyming with Dr. Seuss. With daily Phonemic awareness your kids have been practicing listening for beginning and ending sounds and repeating them back! Lots of Smart cookie’s in JK.
Math: Our number work continues daily with calendar and beyond. The kids love the game, ” What number comes between 5 and 7?” This is something fun we do while waiting in line to go to a special or packing up at the end of the day!
Science: The Daily Meteorologist report is going well. Your kids are so very proud to be up front reporting the weather. We are all very eager for signs of spring and new life to arise.
