JK Newsletter November 1, 2024

What a great week! We had a blast celebrating Halloween.

Thank you to all the moms for coming in and providing such a fun party for the kids! It was so great to see so many of you at the Trunk or Treat too! Lots of fun had by ALL!

We welcome NOVEMBER, the month of gratitude, love and so much to be thankful for!

It seems November will bring us some colder weather ahead.  Please make sure your kids have hats and gloves for walks, playground and recess time.

Things to ask your children:

  • Can you sing me the day of the week song?
  • What is your favorite activity on the playground? The slides or the pebbles?
  • Where does Bubbles the fish like to hide?

Religion: We are so very blessed! Your children will be bringing home a 30 Days of Thankful calendar today.  I hope you enjoy these talking points with your family throughout the month.  I have mine on my refrigerator at home 🙂

Literacy: Jolly phonics this week is the  letter “r”.  the children are doing amazing with their letter sounds and motions.

Math:  We are busy counting and graphing through calendar and centers.  The kids are doing great with number poems as well!

Science/Social studies: We will be doing lots of learning about thanksgiving in the weeks ahead.

Have a great weekend!
