This month has been full of learning and hands on activities that have been all things Halloween!
We had a great time with our 6th grade Buddies today going for a walk around the school for some fresh air, and making Skeletons!
Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. These fun activities come from the Student Council! We will have a different theme each day!
Monday: Wear Pink for Breast cancer awareness for $1.00; Proceeds go to the Wellness house in Hinsdale
Tuesday: Crazy sock Day and bring a food pantry item to donate.
Wednesday: Dress in your favorite decade or wear bright clothes.
Thursday: Comfy clothes or Hawaiian shirts
Friday: Halloween costumes
A few talking points for your kids:
- Whose Birthday did we celebrate today?
- Which friend was the Prayer leader, Line leader, Flag holder and Caboose?
- What do your tablemates eat for snack?
Religion: Church on Tuesday 8am. We will learn about Saints Simon and Jude.
Literacy: Jolly Phonics this week is the Letter “M”. Please ask your kids to rhyme with you! Far/ car, cat/ mat….etc. This is one of the many exercises in our phonic awareness program we do daily!
Math: Lots of Spooky Halloween fun counting activities!
Science: Pumpkins!
As always, let us know if you have any questions!
