Another great week of JK under our belts! So hard to believe, but next week begins the season of Fall!
Fall is a great time time to hit the forest preserves and enjoy fall colors, textures, weather and smells that come with it!
The first day of Fall is Monday, and we had a blast making fall hats with our 6th grade buddies today!
We also filled our “Bucket of Kindness” in the classroom today! Yay, so proud of the kindness that these children are showing to one another.
Questions for your children:
- Did you like the water table?
- What classroom job are you excited to have?
- Did you enjoy playing with shaving cream?
- Ask your child if they put a “warm and fuzzy” in the classroom bucket of kindness?
Literacy: Next week will be learning the letters “P” and “N” in Jolly Phonics.
Science: Fall and Apples! We have lots of fun learning about apples through many hands on activities!
Religion: We have mass on Tuesday at 8am. We will also be learning about Saint Vincent and St. Michael.
Math: We will be sorting, graphing and matching apples through many different hands on centers.
