We hope your Grandfriends and children enjoyed the special mass today!
We welcomed fall this week and had a HOOT, making owls for our Fall bulletin board.
Some questions to ask your children:
- How did the fire drill go today? Did the fire trucks come for the drill?
- Who was the prayer leader?
- What color wings does your owl have? Green, orange or yellow
Next week is all about Apples! Please bring in a Red, Green or yellow apple by Wednesday! We have lots of hands on delicious activities ahead of us!
Literacy: We will be learning the letter “P” in Jolly Phonics. The kids have learned the letter sounds and motions for s,a,t,i.c,k,n in Jolly Phonics.
Science: Using our senses, we have been noticing all the Fall colors and leaves, and Squirrels hiding nuts for winter! We will keep watching.
Religion: This week we will be going to 8am Mass on Tuesday and learning about the Archangels
Social Emotional: Learning how to treat others and be kind is a HUGE part of our Preschool program. We are really working hard on manners and also helping your children become more self sufficient. Please help reinforce this at home. Every morning in our classroom your children put their own snack , lunch and water bottle in a special spot in the room. We have a 3 tries rule with opening their snack. They are BEYOND proud when they do it themselves!
