- Caterpillars: We officially have chrysalises! Now, more waiting–about 2 weeks–for our butterflies to emerge! We will continue to make observations in our science journals. We will continue to read nonfiction books about caterpillars and butterflies and will keep track of all that we know with a graphic organizer. New life in the spring time is SO exciting!
- We will continue to observe our bean and popcorn seeds growing in dirt.
- May is here! Each day during the month of MAY we will honor Mother Mary by adding the Hail Mary to our morning prayer. We’ve made an altar for Mary so she is front and center in our classroom. We have vases set up around Mary and the children are welcome to bring in a flower anytime this month to help us honor her. On Monday, we will attend the May Crowning Mass.
