This week we focused on the letter Qq and continued working on our numeros (numbers). The number we mainly focused on this week was numero 18. The book of the week was La Mejor Sopa del Mundo where we learned about ingredientes (ingredients) and how each friend brought something to add to the soup. We also talked about the cover or portada. During religion, we talked about being a good Samaritan and helping others. We have continued talking about being safe, kind, and compassionate. In addition, we keep practicing our Cardinal Pride by following our school’s PBIS expectations. In this months PBIS raffle, Veda won! Great job, amiga! Keep up the great work!
Next week, we will focus on the letter Rr and focus on numero 19. We will also continue practicing our Zoo phonics, shapes and colors daily. We have really enjoyed doing Danny Go in Spanish which is something we will keep doing. We also tried a new calming method which we will keep implementing throughout the week in order to help us transition to our next activity.
