La Vaca Que Puso Un… ¿Que? 4/7/25- 4/11/25

This week in DLI, we did many fun activities! We contiue reviewing our shapes and numbers, and are finishing our alfabeto. This week, we focused on letra Yy our silabas: ya,ye,yi,yo,yu. We continue watching el mono silabo and smile and learn. Those two resources really get our students engaged. We read La Vaca Que Puso Un Huevo and talked about the differences in the eggs that hens’ lay and the one that Maca, our main character laid.

For religion, we read Mi Libro de Semana Santa and saw a short film on Holy Week and Easter. Our students watched very attentively to everything that happened to Jesus and understood that He did this to save us.

We keep working on our Handwriting Without Tears book. We are so close to the end! A few of the activities we did this week included making an easter bunny and cleaning out the garden by taking out the old plants so that the incoming ones can look fresh and green.

Gracias, Mrs. Ward, for being this weeks mystery reader!

Next week, we will have a short week but we will complete our alphabet. I cannot believe it!

We will have a mini Easter egg hunt in class using the baskets we made together. We’ll also read a book about Easter. In addition, we will continue practicing our shapes, colors, and numbers.
