This week, we continued reviewing many of the things we learned throughout the school year – and- we were introduced to Estrellita, the program that will be used next year for phonics. Estrellita is very similar to Zoo phonics, which means that it will be a piece of cake for our students! This week we celebrated St. Cletus’ Feast Day and had some Icee’s!
We read many books but the class favorite was Hola Doctor! We will begin prepping to plant their very own flowers that they will be able to take home next week – marigolds in honor of Virgin Mary!
We also enjoy two new outdoor toys during recess. Our students had lots of fun enjoying these new additions!
Next week, we will finish our Handwriting Without Tears booklet.
In addition, we are getting ready for our end of the year celebration. More info to follow!
