This week we focused on letter Tt and continued practicing our numbers as well as our recognition. We read Lola Planta un Jardin and also discussed how “estamos en la linea en medio de primavera y invierno” – we are in the line between spring and winter. In addition to reading the story, we started working on our spring craft to display in our bulletin board!
This week, our DLI students showed off their gained knowledge by reading syllables in a sentence. When greeting our students in the morning and doing our check up on random stuff (things they did at home, pets, sibling, etc.), Olive immediately lit up and in English told me she knew exactly what I was saying and proceeded to tell me exactly what I had said. Cece, is thinking out loud in Spanish and we LOVE hearing it! Mark knows his prayer for Alimentos (grace before meals). Rosie will let us know when something “no me gusta” or “me gusta” ( like/ not like).
We are just so LUCKY to have them !!!!
Gracias, Mrs. Perez, for stopping by!
